A program designed to assist refugees and immigrants, facing significant barriers to successful settlement and integration.

The Moving Ahead program offers personalized support to isolated newcomer populations through a collaborative, case management service approach that serves refugees and immigrants who face multiple barriers in their process of settlement.

Please note that this program is no longer running as of April 1, 2025. At this time this program is not accepting referrals and we are unable to provide referrals.

Program Eligibility.

Eligibility includes those refugees and immigrants who:

  • Lack Canadian life experience or knowledge

  • Meet specific immigration status requirements

  • Experience complex life situations

  • Have defined hardships and difficulties
