Volunteer in Child Care
Volunteering is a great way to gain experience working with young children and is also suitable for Early Childhood Educator students. Each volunteer will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for their contribution to Burnaby Family Life.

Get in touch so we can get to know you better. When opportunities arise, we'll reach out to discuss how you can get involved. Please note that all volunteers are required to attend a 90-minute orientation at our main office, which is scheduled between 10 AM and 2 PM during weekdays. Our volunteer coordinator will arrange this with you once your application is approved.

What does our volunteer onboarding process look like?
We offer over 70 weekly volunteer shifts in our regular programs including child care, pre and postnatal services and administration.
We rely on volunteers to work our special community events.
