How we help
Community Law Advocates provide information, advocacy, and referrals. An advocate can help to identify your legal needs and provide information when choosing fair, realistic solutions in your community law matter. Advocates may assist you by:
Providing information about benefits
Reviewing necessary forms and documentation for poverty law matters
Advocating with decision-makers on your behalf
Preparing questions and summaries of legal needs for duty counsel or a pro-bono lawyer
Providing representation at tribunals and other hearings
